    Thats why you have to keep the 30,000 feet before landing.. trust me.. its one hell of a landing.

    @TheOne131

    It was a surface-to-air missile. They are designed to shoot down high speed aircraft.

    @TheOne131 it was a guided shoulder launched missile aka stinger

    what are the odds of the missile hitting the plane? I mean the plane must of been travelling at 250 kts when it got hit. I guess they have good aim :S

    I agree with you but this incident will never receive the same recognition.

    1) It was a cargo plane with no passengers to have been saved (removes the “hero” worship scenario)
    2) Happened in Baghdad, far away from most of us.
    3) There are very few images of it available. 1549 has video of the landing and rescue.

    Not at all to take away from 1549 (that one was also very cool), but this incident was one of the most amazing feats in the history of aviation.

    Illuminati=ET kin aka gods, Ea, dragons, angels/demons, Satan, Pepsi, naga, vampires, bluebloods, Al Gore, Windsors, Rothschilds, Rockefellars etc who rule cults like Freemasonry. Their agenda: repeatedly cull/victimize people via vaccines/other poisons, carbon taxes, Codex Alimentarius, internet 2, WW3 then stage an alien invasion to get a fascist world government/religion with us chipped. I think this crash is 100x better than the Hudson River crash of US Airways flight 1549. This is so much more amazing.

    Full tanks don’t explode, partially empty tanks can if air introduction is not overwhelmed by vapor-point. Note also the pilots, who had the brains to put the thrust reversers full on before gear collapsed were told to stop, just as wtc occupants were told to go back inside.

    Thats a bad day for those guys, get hit by a missle, loose all control, draining fuel tank and landing in a mine field.

    unfortunately as it stands the aircraft with flares would not be allowed near most airports due to the extreme fire risk.
